A Bogotá-based cover band that’s been working the Colombian capital’s live-music circuit since 2016 — with a Caribbean and Florida cruise-ship tour in the mix. English-language hits from the 1950s to today, played for everything from corporate launches to small wine rooms like Treverete.
Delorean Hit Machine has been active since 2016. The format is a versatile cover-band setup with a deep songbook of English-language hits — the kind of group that can play anything from Stand By Me to a Bruno Mars chart and have the entire room singing along on the chorus.
Their repertoire spans:
According to their official band history, Delorean Hit Machine has performed at recognized Bogotá venues including:
They’ve also done substantial international work — cruises and hotel circuits in the Caribbean and Florida — before returning to the Bogotá scene with a stronger local presence.
And on the corporate side: major events including product launches and corporate parties for Ford — including a celebration for the 55th anniversary of the Ford Mustang in April 2019.
Treverete’s Instagram has repeatedly featured Delorean Hit Machine for Friday-night sets. A representative caption:
For a band that can play Hard Rock Café and Mustang launches, the Treverete room is on the smaller end of the spectrum — which is part of what makes catching them there a different experience from catching them at a larger venue. Closer to the band. Lower volume. Wine in hand.
Expect a set that knows its songbook cold and can read the room. Smaller and more intimate at Treverete than at one of their bigger Bogotá venues — that’s the appeal of catching them in this space.
